Social Studies Practice for the GED (GEDSoc)

Description
The exercises in this course are intended as supplemental review for students preparing for the GED Social Studies subject test who are already using a textbook and/or other course materials to get ready. They are not designed to be the only materials consulted in preparation for the exam.

Practice sets are grouped by the four major topics encountered on the GED Social Studies test: History, U.S. Government & Politics, Economics, and Geography. They can be completed in any order. Students are advised to consult their teacher and/or textbook for more information whenever they run into difficulty completing any of the practice sets.

Practice sets with a star symbol (✬) at the end of the title overlap in content with study materials for the civics test applicants for U.S. citizenship take at their naturalization interview. If you are currently studying for the U.S. citizenship interview, you may want to pay special attention to practice sets marked with a star!

For more detail on what each set of exercises entails, click on "Social Studies Practice Course Overview" toward the bottom of the page.
